Philosophy is indissolubly intertwined with my personal and professional life. What started as a search for philosophical certainty in my childhood and adolescent years, reached its pinnacle in my twenties: searching for philosophical truth. Through reading the writings of Iris Murdoch, from my early thirties onwards, I became interested in the works of G. E. Moore, Gilbert Ryle and Ludwig Wittgenstein, making later a connection to Richard Rorty - realizing what his book 'The Linguistic Turn' implied to me. In Rorty's own writing I found a voice saying what I had tried to articulate for myself since my late twenties, lacking the linguistic tools.
